Health Man One man has died and the Middlesex-London Health Unit is concerned and unable to find the source after three reported cases of Legionnaire’s disease in London in the past two weeks Health Man. This is a sharp contrast to the normal average of one reported case of Legionnaire’s disease per year Health Man, health officials said Health Man.
Of the reported cases, two were received over the summer Health Man, while the remaining three were received within the past two weeks. The five individuals who have been infected are males whose ages range between the mid-40s to early 70s Health Man. “One man has died as a result of the disease,” health officials said.
“Our investigation into the sources of Legionella in these cases is on-going,Health Man and so far we’ve been unable to pinpoint the source or find common links between those who have been infected Health Man,” said Dr. Bryna Warshawsky, Associate Medical Officer of Health with the Middlesex-London Health Unit.
Health care providers have been asked to notify Health Man the health unit if they suspect that any of their patients may have been infected with Legionnaire’s disease Health Man.
